On 24th of July the ECODISTR-ICT project took part at the Climate KIC Summer School program “The Journey”. This program is the world’s largest climate innovation and start-up summer school. During five intensive weeks, around 300 students from a multitude of disciplines attend the summer school in some of Europe’s most vibrant entrepreneurial and cultural places. The summer school is organised together with leading universities, such as the Imperial College London, University of Reading, ETH Zurich, TU Munich as well as European businesses and climate innovators.
The event was held in Valencia, Spain, in the Botanical Garden. ECODISTR-ICT partner Bipolaire held a presentation on innovative projects in which Bipolaire participates, including ECODISTR-ICT. This allowed the summer school students to get to know currently on-going energy efficiency projects. It also provided the opportunity for Bipolaire to exchange with the students and get their points of views. The students could furthermore gain inputs and inspirations for their new business and start-up ideas.
After presentations by a number of businesses related to climate innovation, a speed dating was organised, in which students met and exchanged face to face with the speakers.
